ALL COMPETITORS MUST LIVE OR ATTEND A SCHOOL OR BE A MEMBER OF A CHESS CLUB WITHIN THE CARDIFF OR VALE AREAS
AGE GROUPS (competitors may enter an older age group if they wish)
UNDER 8 (Year 3)
UNDER 9 (Year 4)
UNDER 10 (Year 5)
UNDER 11 (Year 6)
UNDER 13 (Years 7&8)
UNDER 15 (Years 9&10)
COMPETITORS must be under the respective age on 1st September 2019 (Normal school years)
Entry fee is £4. Players may wish to bring a packed lunch. Refreshments will be available for sale.
The organisers of the event are unable to provide supervision outside the playing areas, and can accept np responsibility for competitors between rounds. It is therefore recommended that each school sends an adult (parent or member of staff) to accompany the children during the day.
