The WCU Blitz: Battle of the Immortals is a new regular Chess Event that aims to bring together the best players from around Wales to compete in an all play all Blitz.
Regulations:
This tournament is FIDE Rated.
The format of the Tournament will be Round Robin - (All Play All)
The top rated 30 players will qualify for the Championship Section. The remaining players will qualify for the Reserve Section.
All entrants need to be registered as with FIDE and are members of the WCU or other National Body.
Entry Fee:
£5 early entry, £10 on the day.

Rate of Play:
3 minutes per game, plus a 2 second increment from move 1.
