Entry Requirements for Junior Events
All players in the junior sections must be Welsh Qualified, registered members of the WCU and registered with FIDE as Welsh at the time of entry.
Entrants who are not already members of the WCU, or registered with the WCU through clubs, will be automatically registered with the WCU by the tournament officials. Registration is free for the first season (2022-23). For the U501 section, players must be in year 7 or below.
