The Welsh Junior Rapidplay Championships return for 2026, with four age sections — Under 14, Under 12, Under 10 and Under 8. All players must be Welsh qualified.

Rate of play: 5 rounds, all moves in 15 minutes with a 10 second increment per move. Players may claim up to 2 half-point byes in any of the first 3 rounds.
How to enter
Enter online using the entry form. Your entry is confirmed once the £15.00 fee has been received. You can pay by PayPal, by bank transfer, or in cash on the day — the details appear after you submit the form and are repeated in your confirmation email.
