As in 2021-22 the WCU fees for the period 1^st September 2022 to 31^st August 2023
are unchanged as shown below:

Adults – £15

Juniors – £7

New members or those rejoining after a minimum period of 5 years –
Free membership in their first season.

As in 2021-22 I am content with members being registered with me through regional
zones and I will be emailing zonal officers regarding this.  I am also happy for clubs to
register their players directly with me as some North Wales and Gwent clubs did in
2021-22 and individuals can also become registered by completing the attached
direct membership applications form.

• WCU members 2022-23 to be completed by zones or clubs.

Due to Covid-19 the WCU Management Board decided that no membership fees (Direct or otherwise) for current members were collected before 1^st April 2021. 

Any player who is NOT a current member and wishes to take part in online competitions can join the Welsh Chess Union. Please contact Kevin Staveley (homedirector@welshchessunion.uk) for details.
