It is with great sadness that the Management Board need to inform you that Bob Owen from Bridgend Chess Club has passed away on 27th October 2025.
Bob has been a core member of the Bridgend club for many years and many current members of the EGCA would have played a game against him. His warm and friendly character was unmissable. He will be greatly missed by many.
