South Wales mega-final 2017

Whitchurch Primary School provided an excellent venue for the South West mega-final, which was held and Saturday 6 May and attracted 219 players. Unlike previous years, medals were given for second and third place. Players in the under 11s and below that scored 4 points or more qualified for the giga-final; for those playing in the under 12s and above, 3.5 points or more secured a place at the giga-final.

The results were as follows:

  • Under 7 girls. Suprema: Isabella Caesar and Byony Boyce. Third: Lilian Sapsford
  • Under 8 Girls: Suprema: Lara Omidvar and Rose Lily Sadafi. Joint third: Ruby Martin and Namita Chandra
  • Under 9 Girls: Suprema:Ashika Shahameeran and Nia Rathkey. Third: Carena Tothill
  • Under 10 Girls: Suprema: Hiya Ray. Second: Ella Toner. Third: Daisy Price
  • Under 11 Girls: Suprema: Nayana Kalavala. Second: Audrey Piguet. Third: Mariam Hoosein
