Please note that until next Sunday there are major roadworks on the A48 in Chepstow due to gas main replacement.
Last weekend these works caused major disruption around the Chepstow area and between the M48 and town (A466). If you are travelling on this route and using High Beech Roundabout please allow extra time to arrive.
An alternative route travelling from the west is to leave the M4 at J24 (Coldra) and then take the A48 to Chepstow. When you get to Crick turn left and follow signs to Shirenewton. When in Shirenewton follow the signs to Chepstow. This brings you into Chepstow near the racecourse above the dsiruption. You can access Welsh Street from there.
