The WCU has recently been informed that Huw Morcom has passed away, The Management Board wishes to send our condolences to Huw’s friends and relatives on their very sad loss.

It is with great sadness that I must inform you all of the sad passing of Huw Morcom, a stalwart of Carmarthen chess for many years; a dear friend and always warm and informative company – he will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting and playing with him.
