Congratulations are in order to Tom Thorpe who was recently awarded the FIDE Arbiter title at the 88th FIDE Congress in Antalya, Turkey. The Management board has just been informed that Bev Palmer passed away a couple of months ago, Bev did a lot of organising for Haverfordwest Chess Club in the 1980s. The Management Board wish to send Bev’s relatives and friends our deepest condolences on their sad loss.
