Congratulations are in order to Tom Thorpe who was recently awarded the FIDE Arbiter title at the 88th FIDE Congress in Antalya, Turkey. The Management board has just been informed that Hazel Brunker passed away in June 2025, Hazel won the Women’s Welsh Championship seven times (in 1970, 1972, 1973, 1982, 1985, 1989 and 1990.
