The latest ECU Press Release can be downloaded here. On Wednesday 18 April Chepstow School came fourth in the finals of the ECF Junior Team Challenge, held at Hertford College, Oxford. The organisers wish to sincerely thank all those who played in this year’s event and also all who helped in the organisation.
The event was once again held at the Radisson Park Inn Hotel, Cardiff North and the organisers would like to take this oppurtunity to thank the staff there for their help and support.
The organisers would also like to sincerely thank “Wholesale Chess” for their sponsorship of these Championships and their commitment to sponsoring the Championships for at least the next two years.
The charity Chess in Schools and the Communities (CSC) are holding a training day for all those interested in becoming Chess Tutors or Trainers, or heklping out in a School Chess Club orr running a Junior night at the local club.
