Welsh Junior Championships 2018: Week-end one results

At the first week-end of the Welsh Junior Chess Championships, held at Chepstow School on 24-25 February, Susana Fraser and Ifan Rathbone-Jones shared the Under 14 title, Ellison Smith won the under 12s, Sridatta Dantu and Ben Jaberansari shared the under 10s and Govind Anandkumar won the under 8s.

Today, the Welsh Chess Union has the great pleasure to announce that Lord Greg Mostyn has agreed to become a patron of the Welsh Chess Union.

Glorney Gilbert Tournament 2018: 16-18 July

The dates for 2018 Glorney Gilbert Tournament have now been finalised: it will be held at the University of the West of Scotland, Paisley, from 16th to 18th of July, with travelling on the 15th and 19th.
