Windsor Lewis R.I.P.

Sad news has been received that on Thursday 26th January, Windsor Lewis of Barry Chess Club passed away.

The funeral will be held on Monday 13th February at 3.00pm at Barry Crematorium.

Refreshments will be available after at Barry Golf Club.

Junior Selection Criteria has now been published

The Junior Selection Committee has now published a Junior Selection Criteria document which clearly oulines the minimum grade qualifications required to be considered for selection for the World and European Youth Championships for both the Open (Under 8 – Under 18) and Girls (Under 10 – Under 18) competitons..

WCPL Round 2 results show wins for Abergavanny, Cardiff and White Knights

In the WCPL Round 2, Abergavenny beat Nidum 3.5 – 2.5, Cardiff beat The Vake 4.5 – 1.5 and White Knights beat Cardigan 4.5 – 1.5.

South Wales and West of England Jamboree

The South Wales and West of England Jamboree took place at Chepstow School on Saturday 14 January. Somerset won the under 14s, Glamorgan won the under 11s, and Somerset won the under 9s.
