St John’s cruise into the finals of the ECF Under 11 Open

Playing at home on Sunday 28 January, St John’s A-team emerged as convincing winners of the South West regional finals of the ECF Under 11 Open. Scoring 28.5 game points out of a possible 30, St John’s have booked their place in the national finals, to be played at Uppingham school in July.

Dragons triumph in Telford

At the second week-end of the junior 4NCL 2017/2018 season, held in Telford, one of the three Welsh Dragons teams won the second division. Welsh Dragons Green – Merlin Davies, Ellison Smith, Sam Goodfellow, Ben Jaberansari and Tom Davies – netted nine match points, one more than second-placed Barnet Knights 2.

Glamorgan Under 9s and Under 11s win the Wales and West-of-England jamboree

At the 2018 South Wales and West-of-England jamboree, held at Chepstow School on Saturday 13 January, Glamorgan won the under 9s and under 11s sections. In the under 14s they finished third, behind Gwent and winners Somerset.
